Alan began his career in 1986.  His experience has been exclusively in the public accounting profession including significant involvement with the audit, tax planning and management/business advisory services for various privately and publicly held clients, primarily in the real estate industry.  Alan has been with Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP since 1992 and is currently responsible for the audit, tax planning and compliance of some of the firm’s largest corporate clients as well as many high net worth individual clients.  In addition, Alan is the firm’s administrative partner.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and its Large and Medium Size Practice Management Committee and is a former member of the NYSSCPA’s Real Estate Committee.
